“This group is by far the best group I’ve been to for substance abuse. There really is no comparison. The subject matter discussed is very beneficial and has opened my mind and eyes to take a good look at myself in a positive way. The environment created is a very comfortable one and that’s because it’s easy to tell that the counselors really care about what they are doing.” – Jeremy
Are you…
- Struggling with addiction?
- Wanting to learn to understand and express your anger in a healthier way?
- Being ordered to undergo evaluation and treatment after a DUI?
- Seeking to talk to other people openly about what you’re going through and get support?
If so, you may be the perfect fit for our “Choices” group program! It is designed to challenge you, hold you accountable, reawaken your most sincere desires, and teach skills necessary to break unwanted patterns and address issues of intimacy, communication, and coping skills.
Average class size is 6-10 individuals and the curriculum is designed to look at the root causes of substance abuse, anger, and more instead of merely addressing the symptoms. It calls upon participants to reflect on their own lives as well as speak into the lives of others.
We’re now seeking individuals who want to share their story, engage with others, or are seeking providers for court-ordered treatment.
Join us weekly on Thursday nights for this state-certified program!
“Coming into the program, I really didn’t know what to expect. Being able to build relationships with people I would probably never associate with helped me gain an appreciation of my life and how grateful I really am. For once I was able to think about my actions and take responsibility for all the mistakes I’ve made. I realize I’m not invincible and stuff can and will happen to me. I learned to appreciate my parents more and am excited to build more of a personal relationship. I gained confidence that I can be successful/happy without living a life a crime. This class helped me find my true passion and helped me grow as a person. I will always be thankful for all your care and help. I’m ready to live my life with actions rather than words. Ms. Lisa, Dr. Rick, and Charity- Thank you so much. Seriously.” – Nick
